Suburban Electric was founded in 1969 by Gar Trusselle and Arthur Waterstreet. The original emphasis was on residential and commercial wiring. As the business grew, it was incorporated in 1971 and industrial wiring was added at that time. To fully serve the commercial and industrial markets, the residential division was dropped in the early 1980's. Following Mr. Waterstreet's retirement in 2001, Gar Trusselle took over operation of the Company on a full-time basis.
Suburban Electric has grown from one truck and two men to a full-service electrical contractor with an average of 25 electricians in addition to support staff. Despite our continued growth, we still uphold the high ethics and standards of "small-town values" from whence we came.
